Thiago Silva is a soccer player of international renown, who was born on September 22nd, 1984, and hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He plays the position of centre back for the Fluminense football club, and made his professional debut with the team in 1998, when he was just 14 years old. In 2008, Thiago became a member of the Brazilian national team. It wasn't until he signed with AC Milan in 2009, that he was able to take his soccer career to the next level, and lead the club to its first Serie A championship in seven years. After that, Silva signed with Paris Saint-Germain in 2012. In 2020, he began his professional career with Chelsea, and additionally serves as the Captain of the Brazil National Team.
