Thom Hartmann Bio
Thomas Carl Hartmann, better known as Thom Hartmann, is an American radio show host, journalist, political commentator, and digital content creator. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States, on May 7, 1951.
Thom began hosting the radio show The Thom Hartmann Program where he discussed progressive politics and social issues, and he shared similar conversations as the host of the television show The Big Picture. Thom has also appeared on the TV shows Real Time with Bill Maher, Crossfire, Democracy Now, In Depth, and The ReidOut.
He has authored the books The Hidden History of Neoliberalism, ADHD: A Hunter in a Farmer's World, The Hidden History of American Oligarchy, The Hidden History of Guns and the Second Amendment, and The Hidden History of the Supreme Court and the Betrayal of America.
