Thomas Edward Yorke was born on Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, England. He is best known for being the main songwriter and the singer of the band Radiohead.
He released numerous songs with Radiohead, but he also embarked on solo projects. In 20016, he released the album The Eraser which included the hits “Harrowdown Hill” and “Analyse.” The album also received a nomination for the Mercury Prize and the 2007 Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album.
This album followed by Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes in 2014. He also worked on various film soundtracks such as the additional music on When the Dragon Swallowed the Sun in 2010, The UK Gold where he worked with Robert Del Naja, and the 2018 short films Why Can’t We Get Along and Time of Day.
