Thomas Patrick Lennon is an American actor, writer, comedian, editor, and producer best known for his work in film and television. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on August 9, 1970. Thomas began his acting career in 1980 when he appeared in the TV series Breaking Away. Thomas has since been a regular on the TV series The State, Viva Variety, MDs, Funny or Die Presents..., The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Planet Sheen, Sean Saves the World, Dawn of the Croods, The Odd Couple, and American Dad, but he is best known for starring in the comedy-crime series Reno 911 alongside Cedric Yarbrough, Niecy Nash, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Kerri Kenney, and Robert Ben Garant. His filmography includes the blockbusters Hancock, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, We're the Millers, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Bad Teacher, and A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas.
