Three Dog Night is an American rock band that was formed in 1968 in Los Angeles, California, United States. The founding members of the band were the vocal singers Danny Hutton, Chuck Negron and Cory Wells while they later expanded to a more sophisticated squad later on.
The band dropped One in 1969 which rose to become the band’s first Top Ten hit. Mama Told Me (Not to Come) peaked at #1 the next year while Joy to the World became the band’s biggest hit in 1971 spending over six weeks at the very top of the pop charts. Some of their other hits in that period include 1972’s Black and White and 1974’s The Show Must Go On. The group later disbanded and came together again, releasing The London Symphony in 2002 and to celebrate their 35th anniversary in 2005, they issued The 35th Anniversary Hits Collection which featured the pair Sault Ste.
