Throttle, real name Robbie Bergin, is a DJ and producer from Melbourne, Australia. His passion for becoming a DJ began at the young age of 13. He named himself Throttle in the same year. The name has no deeper meaning. He released his first single, titled “Classical Dirt”, in 2012, followed by a second, titled “Together,” in collaboration with David Spekter in July 2015.
The song earned more than 2.5 million plays on Spotify and more than 500,000 views on YouTube in over a month. His remix of “Hold Me Up” by Conrad Sewell was used on the ABC drama series “Nashville.” In 2015, he released September (Throttle x Earth, Wind & Fire), which propelled him into the next chapter. He went on to release other songs, including Baddest Behaviour in 2017, Disco Night in 2018, Like This in 2019, Dreamer in 2019 and Lost Like Us in 2019.
