Through The Roots Bio
The talented reggae group, Through the Roots, formed in 2008 in San Diego and have been delighting fans with their Cali-reggae vibes ever since. The band is made up of Evan Hawkins, Bryan Jackson, Brady O’Rear, Chris Cruz, and Taylor Boatwright. The up-and-coming band quickly became a must-see show as they toured heavily with popular groups including Slightly Stoopid, Rebelution, Iration, Steel Pulse, Stick Figure, Protoje, Method Man and Redman, Steve Aoki, Chronixx, The Green, Pepper, Passafire, Tribal Seeds, Natural Vibrations, Alborosie, and more. They’re first CD Here to Stay reached #2 on the iTunes reggae Top 200 Chart in the first week, and they’re album Take You There debuted at #3 behind Bob Marley and Snoop Dogg on the iTunes reggae chart. Through the Roots have played at legendary venues including the Roxy Theatre, Granada Theater, Key Club in Hollywood, and the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas. They released their long-awaited album, Arrival, in 2019.
