Thuy is a rising Vietnamese-American R&B singer and songwriter, who has released several records depicting her angelic vocals and unique music style. Born in Stockton and raised in Newark, Thuy is most popular for her radio records, “Hands on Me” and “In My Bag.”

Although Thuy’s musical talent was evident from an early age, her family didn't support the idea of their daughter making a career out of music. Thuy decided to follow her parents’ wishes and became a medical doctor.

However, she was soon fed up with her work and called it quits. Her friends made her realize what having a music career meant, and decided to move to L.A to pursue her career.

Influenced by 90s pop stars like Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears, Thuy’s music style explores her childhood experiences, traumas associated with immigration, and expectations. She hopes to use her music to inspire people, spread love, and challenge people to actualize their dreams.

The Los Angeles-based singer has released songs, such as All Night Long, Vapor Rub, and In My Bag. All songs gained widespread recognition.
