Tierra Whack was born on Philadelphia on August 11, 1995. She used to rap using the stage name Dizzle Dizz, but she decided to use her birth name.
She joined a shoot for We Run The Streets where she showed off her rapping skills. The video ended up on YouTube, and she caught the attention of A$AP Rocky and Meek Mill. In 2015, she also uploaded her music on Soundcloud.
She dropped the singles “Child Please,” “S**t Happens,” and “Mumbo Jumbo.” She released her debut album Whack World which contains 15 tracks including “Pretty Ugly,” “Cable Guy,” “Fruit Salad,” and “Hungry Hippo.”
She featured on Temi Oni’s “Pull Up on You” and Student 1’s “Yin/Yang.” She also performed at the Pitchfork Music Festival, and Pitchfork awarded her debut album with the Best New Music award.
