The German actor Tilman Valentin Schweiger was born on 19 December 1963, in Freiburg, Baden-Württemberg, West Germany. Since he was young, he was interested in acting and took lessons in 1989. He did his first lead role in the film “Manta, Manta” of 1991, but his big breakthrough was thanks to his role in the film “Maybe...Maybe Not” of 1994. In 1996 he founded a film production company named “Mr. Brown Entertainment” along with Tom Zickler. He debuted as producer a year after with the film “Knockin' on Heaven's Door”, which won several Festival Awards. He continued acting for german and international films while he also co-produced some films. In 2011 he wrote, produced, and directed the film Kokowääh along with his daughter, Emma Tiger Schweiger, which has been one of the most successful films from his career as a producer.
