Tim Hardaway Jr. Bio

Timothy Duane Hardaway Jr. is a professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association for the Dallas Mavericks (NBA). The son of Tim Hardaway, he was born on 16 March 1992 in Alameda, California

He played collegiate basketball for the Michigan Wolverines and declared for the NBA draft after his junior season with the national runner-up team in 2012–13. The New York Knicks drafted Hardaway with the 24th overall choice in the 2013 NBA draft. He's played for the New York Knicks twice and the Atlanta Hawks once.

During the 2010–11 NCAA Division I men's basketball season, he received four Big Ten Conference Freshman of the Week honors as a freshman. He set the freshman record for most three-pointers made in a single season at Michigan. He was named a Collegeinsider.com Freshman All-America in 2011 and competed for Team USA in the 2011 FIBA Under-19 World Championship.
