Timothy Matthew Howard, better known as Tim Howard, is an American professional soccer player who played as a goalkeeper in the English Premier League and MLS. He was born in North Brunswick, New Jersey, United States, on March 6, 1979. Tim began his soccer career in 1995 when he joined the youth setup at Central Jersey Cosmos, and he turned professional in 1997 when he signed with the North Jersey Imperials. He has since represented MetroStars, Manchester United, Colorado Rapids, and Memphis 901, but he is best known for his time at Everton. Throughout his time with Everton, Tm played alongside Romelu Lukaku, Gerard Deulofeu, Ross Barkley, John Stones, and Phil Jagielka. Tim made his debut for the US senior national team in 2002, and he went on to be their first-choice keeper till 2017. His career highlights include FA Cup, FA Community Shield, MLS Goalkeeper of the Year, FIFA Confederations Cup Golden Glove, and CONCACAF Men's Goalkeeper of the Year.
