Tim Minchin Bio
Timothy David Minchin is an Australian comedian, actor, writer, musician, and songwriter who was born on October 7, 1975.
Minchin was born in Northampton, England, to Australian parents and reared in Perth, where he studied at the University of Western Australia (UWA) and the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) before moving to Melbourne in 2002.
His musical comedy is his most well-known work. He has six CDs, five DVDs, and has performed live comedy shows all over the world. In Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, he has appeared on television.
His show Darkside catapulted him into the spotlight, with critical acclaim at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2005 and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2005.
