Timothy Daniel Pool is an American YouTuber, podcast host, and political commentator who was born on 9th March 1986 in Chicago, Illinois. His inspiration came from a viral video about the Occupy Wall Street movement. He joined the protestors and met Henry Ferry with whom he started the media company, The Other 99. He began to livestream the protests and also hosted live chats to take questions from viewers. He also created the DroneStream system using a remote-controlled Parrot A.R Drone. He shot to fame when he posted a 21 hour, non-stop coverage of the eviction of Occupy Wall Street. This caught the attention of The Guardian and an article about the dangers of DroneStrem was featured as a potentially counterproductive surveillance system. The videos shot by him however played a pivotal role in the acquittal of Alexander Arbuckle who was wrongly arrested by the NYPD. His role in the Occupy movement also earned him a Time 100 personality nomination in 2012.
