Timea Bacsinszky is a Swiss retired professional tennis player who won five Doubles Grand Slams and had a career-high international ranking of 9th best. She was born in Lausanne, Switzerland, pm June 8, 1989.
Timea began her tennis career in 2004 when she began competing in Junior Grand Slams, but she became famous in 2006 when she progressed significantly into the Zurich Open, eventually losing out to Maria Sharapova. Throughout her professional career, she progressed into the semi-finals and quarter-finals of the French Open and Wimbledon, and she shared the court with fellow tennis players Tsvetana Pironkova, Kateřina Siniaková, Simona Halep, and Serena Williams.
Timea teamed up with Martina Hingis to win silver in the Doubles event at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games.
