Rapper and singer-songwriter Tink was born Trinity Home on March 15, 1995 in Calumet City, Illinois. Tink began writing songs at age eleven and recorded her first rap at age fifteen in her father’s studio.
She released her first mixtape, “Winter’s Diary,” in 2012. “Winter’s Diary” was followed by two more mixtapes also released in 2012; “Alter Ego” and “Blunts & Ballads.” Her fourth mixtape, “Boss Up,” was released in 2013. She was featured on Future Brown’s single, “Wanna Party,” in 2013 as well. Tink’s fourth mixtape, “Winter’s Diary 2: Forever Yours,” was released in 2014. It was named by “Rolling Stone” as the eighth best R&B album of 2014. “Billboard” magazine rated it the ninth best R&B album of 2014. In October 2014, she signed with Mosley Music Group, which is run by Timbaland. The lead single off of her debut album, “Million,” was released in April 2015 and reached number 41 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-hop Songs chart and number one on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart.
