Tituss Burgess Bio
Tituss Burgess is an American actor and singer. Born and raised in Georgia, he graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. With a Broadway debut in the musical Good Vibrations, he then went on to appear In Jersey Boys, and The Little Mermaid as well as regional productions such as The Wiz and Jesus Christ Superstar.
Burgess is best known for his work on Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt in which he plays Titus Andromedon, alongside Ellie Kemper and Carol Kane. The role launched him into universal success and he became known for his portrayal, garnering many award nominations including three Primetime Emmy Awards for Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. Burgess is also known for his strong high tenor.
