TobyMac Bio
Born in 1964, TobyMac (Toby McKeehan) was was born in Virginia, USA. The Christian hip hop/rock musician released his first album “Momentum” in 2001. His other records include “Welcome to Diverse City” (2004), “Portable Sounds” (2007), “Tonight” (2010), “Christmas in Diverse City” (2011), “Eye on it” (2012), “This is not a test” (2015), “The Elements” (2018). In 2012, TobyMac won the “Favorite Contemporary Inspirational Artist award” at the Billboard Music Awards. The following year he won two awards for “Top Christian Song” and “Top Christian Album” at the same awards show. He has also won Grammy’s in 2009, 2013, and 2016 for “Best Rock Gospel Album”, “Best Contemporary Christian Music Album” and “Best Contemporary Christian Music Album.” He has also won multiple times at the GMA Dove Awards.
