Tom Bergeron, born Thomas Raymond Bergeron on May 6, 1955 in Haverhill, Massachusetts is a known American comedian, game show host, and television personality. His career began when he became a disc jockey at a local radio station in his hometown. After he started gaining popularity, he began receiving audition opportunities as for other radio and television roles. His first job in front of the camera was as a game show host for Granite State Challenge in 1983. He then moved on to Boston where he quickly became a known figure. By 1994, he began hosting Breakfast Time, FX’s morning show, and from 1998 to 2004, he was the host of the game show Hollywood Squares. In 2001, he started his hosting job for the popular ABC series America’s Funniest Home Videos, and in 2005, he also became the host of the channel’s popular dance survival show Dancing with the Stars.
