Thomas Kerridge, better known as Tom Kerridge, is an English chef, TV personality, entrepreneur, and actor known for his culinary arts. He was born in Salisbury, England, on July 27, 1973. Tom began his acting career in the early 1990s with starring appearances in the TV series The Tomorrow People, Chris Cross, After Henry, and the film Agatha Christie's Miss Marple: They Do It with Mirrors. But soon after, he switched his focus to the culinary arts, working at Calcot Manor, Knightsbridge, the Stephen Bull Restaurant, Bellamys Dining Room, Great Fosters, and Odettes. In 2005 he opened his Michelin-rated restaurant The Hand & Flowers, and he now owns a chain of restaurants that includes The Coach, The Butcher's Tap, Kerridge’s Bar & Grill, The Bull & Bear, and Kerridge’s Fish & Chips. Tom resumed his TV career as a culinary expert, appearing in Food Detectives, Top of the Shop with Tom Kerridge, Tom Kerridge's Lose Weight for Good, Bake Off Creme De La Crème, and This Morning, but he is best known for starring in The Great British Menu which also features Matthew Fort, Oliver Peyton, Andi Oliver, and Richard Corrigan.
