Tom Pelphrey is an American actor who was born on July 28, 1982, in Howell, New Jersey. He began acting when he was in high school and earned a BFA in Acting at the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. He made his acting debut in 2003 when he was casted to join the famous long lasting TV series “The Guiding Light”. Until 2009 he played the famous character Jonathan Randall and for this job, he received two Emmy Awards. In 2009 he joined the series “As the World Turns”, where he participated in 26 episodes. Among some of his most famous projects we can find the movies “Junction” in 2012, which he starred alongside David Zayas, Michael O’Keefe, and Anthony Rapp; the TV series “Banshee” from 2013, and “Iron Fist”, from 2017. In 2020 he joined the cast of the famous series “Ozark”, a role for which he was awarded at the Critics’ Choice Award.
