Tom Selleck Bio
American actor, producer and National Guard Veteran Thomas William Selleck was born on January 29th, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan. Starting from his first TV appearance, “The Dating Game”, he appeared in plenty of TV series and TV movies. His outer styles and behavior led him to cast in cowboy roles in many western movies. After making a great deal of effort in many minor roles, Tom could upswing his career by taking the leading role in “Magnum, P.I.”. Tom’s fame increased as he was taking the lead role in a sitcom series called “The Closer”. While making his film debut in “Myra Breakinridge”, he took parts in a pile of movies. Accordingly, justice he made for the TV series “Friends” has earned him an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor. He has boosted up his career by a number of awards and nominations he retained.
