Tomáš Souček is a soccer player born on February 27, 1995, in Havlíčkův Brod, Czech Republic. The defensive midfielder began his youth career at Slovan Havlíčkův Brod and Slavia Prague. After his loan in Viktoria Žižkov, he joined Slavia Prague's first team in 2015. He played 29 of their 30 Czech first league matches in the 2015/16 campaign.
Tomáš won two Czech First League titles (2016/17, 2018/19) and two Czech Cups (2018, 2019) with Slavia Prague. He made his senior debut for the Czech Republic in a friendly match against Denmark in November 2016. In the 2018/19 season, he scored 18 goals from midfield, earning him the prestigious Czech First League Player of the Year award.
Tomáš was named the Czech Footballer of the Year in 2019 and 2020. He received the Czech Republic Golden Ball Award in 2020, 2021, and 2023. Tomáš has also received Hammer of the Year (2020/21) and Silver Medal of Jan Masaryk (2021). He won the 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League with West Ham United.
