Thomas Lorello, known as Tommie Sunshine, is an American DJ and music producer who performs electronic dance music. He was born in the Chicago, Illinois, United States,

Lorello delved into the burgeoning house music scene in the early 1990s, frequenting clubs like Medusa's in Chicago. His journey escalated in the early '90s when he ventured to New York City, attending the legendary "Storm Rave" by DJ Frankie Bones, a pivotal moment that propelled him into the role of a popular DJ at Midwest raves.

Throughout his illustrious career, Sunshine has collaborated with renowned artists such as Felix Da Housecat, Miss Kittin, and James Murphy, showcasing his diverse talents in remixing and original production. Notable among his achievements is his remix of "Shut Me Up" and "Straight to Video" by "Mindless Self Indulgence," which earned acclaim on their EP "Shut Me Up (The Remixes + 3)." He further solidified his reputation with remixes for Yoko Ono's "Give Peace a Chance," reaching number one on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play Chart, and "Never Wanted to Dance" by "Mindless Self Indulgence."
