Tommy James and the Shondells Bio
Tommy James is a rock band from Niles, Michigan, United States. The band was formed in 1964, and its current members include Tommy James, Mike DiMeo, Benny Harrison, Jonathan Ashe, Johnny Golden, Greg Smith, and Glenn Wyka. The music group has changed its lineup severally over the years, with some members leaving and others joining. They released their debut album, titled “Hanky Panky”, in 1966. The following year, they released three albums: “It’s Only Love”, “Gettin’ Together”, and “I Think We’re Alone Now”.
In 1968, they released their fifth album, titled “Mony Mony”. The following year, they released two albums, titled “Cellophane Symphony” and “Crimson & Clover”. Their last album, “Travelin” was released in 1970. They have also received several compilation albums, including “Anthology” in 1989, “The Essentials” in 2002, “The Definitive Pop Collection” in 2006, and others.
