Tony Jefferson is an American NFL football player. He was born Tony Lemar Jefferson Jr. on the 27th of January, 1992, in San Diego, California, U.S. While attending Eastlake High School, Jefferson earned a 2009 USA Today All-American selection. He was listed as the number 4 cornerback prospect in the class of 2010. The same year he played in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He played college football on the Oklahoma Sooners football team. He was 2010 co-Defensive Freshman of the Year, he shared the title with OSU Cowboys linebacker Shaun Lewis. He entered the 2013 NFL draft and he was ranked the fifth best safety prospect in the draft by ESPN. In 2013 the Arizona Cardinals signed him to a three-year contract, and they signed him again in 2016. He became a free agent after the 2016 and in 2017 the Baltimore Ravens signed him to a four year contract.
