TORA Bio
Tora is an Australian electronic band formed in 2013, in Byron Bay. The band was founded by drummer Thorne Davis, bass guitarist Shaun Johnston, and Jo Loewenthal, and Jai Piccone on vocals, guitar, and keys. They attended Shearwater Steiner School in Mullumbimby and formed a band while in high school. The band released their debut self-titled EP in October 2013, followed by Eat the Sun, in November 2014. In 2017, Tora released their debut album, Take A Rest, followed by Can't Buy the Mood in 2019, and A Force Majeure in 2021. They have performed at Glastonbury, Splendour In The Grass, The Great Escape, Canadian Music Week, and more. Tora has also been supporting artists like RÜFÜS DO SOL, SAFIA, and Miami Horror.
