Tornike Shengelia, also known as Toko Shengelia, is a Georgian professional basketball player who plays as a power forward in Europe’s top basketball leagues and the NBA. He was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, on October 5, 1991. Tornike began his professional basketball career in 2008 when he was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round of the NBA Draft. He has since represented the Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, CSKA Moscow, Virtus Bologna, Spirou Charleroi, and Valencia, and throughout his time with the Brooklyn Nets, Tornike played alongside Alan Anderson, Andray Blatche, Jason Collins, and Kevin Garnett.
