Tosin Abasi Bio
Oluwatosin Ayoyinka Olumide Abasi, better known as Tosin Abasi, is an American guitarist and composer best known as the lead guitarist of the progressive metal band Animals as Leaders. He was born in Washington, D.C., United States, on January 7, 1983. Tosin began his music career in the early 2000s when he played with the musical bands PSI and Reflux, but he became famous in 2007 when he formed the band Animals as Leaders that currently includes Javier Reyes and Matt Garstka. Tosin’s discography with the band includes the hit singles Physical Education, Monomyth, Cafo, The Woven Web, The Problem of Other Minds, and the albums The Joy of Motion, Weightless, and Parrhesia.
