Toyah Willcox is an actress and singer born on 18th May 1958 in Birmingham, England. She is widely recognized for her hit songs “Thunder in the Mountains” and “I Want to Be Free.” Her career spans more than 40 years, and it includes top 40 singles, more than 20 albums, and two books. She began her career with the band “Toyah” from 1977 to 1983 before going solo in the 1980s. She has starred in numerous movies and TV shows, such as "Since" in 1997, "Quadrophenia" in 1979, "Jubilee" in 1978, "Brum" (1991 to 2002), and "Anchoress" in 1993. During the 2020 lockdown in the UK, Toyah used social media to broadcast.
