Tracee Ellis Ross, born Tracee Joy Silberstein on October the 29th 1972 in California and is an American model, television host, comedian and actress. Born into a performing family, she is the daughter of singer Diana Ross. The actress’s career began with the role of Kiki in the film, Far Harbour, but her career took of in 2000 when she was cast as the lead of the sitcom, Girlfriends.
During her time on the show, she also appeared in various films, including the comedy-drama Hanging Up as Kim and Daddy’s Little Girls as Cynthia. Going on to a role as a series regular in the sitcom, Reed Between the Lines before her starring role in the hit American sitcom Blackish, where she portrays Dr.Bow Johnson.
