Trent Dilfer is an American former football player who was born on March 13th, 1972 in Santa Cruz, California, United States. He was born and raised in Santa Cruz. Trent played college football for Fresno State University and was named the WAC Offense Player of the Year in his junior year. Trent was later drafted by Tampa Bay Buccaneers sixth overall in 1994.
Dilfer was a Pro Bowl selection with the Buccaneers in 1997 and also earned a Super Bowl ring with the Ravens in Super Bowl XXXV. He played under the coaching of Brian Billick. Trent also played quarterback for the Super-Bowl Baltimore Ravens in 2001. He later joined the NFL Network in 2006 and worked as a color analyst for the 2008 playoffs and for Monday Night Football games. He is currently an analyst for ESPN.
