Trent Simmons Shelton (born September 21, 1984 in Little Rock, Arkansas) is an American football wide receiver, most renowned for playing football in the Arena Football League. He was signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played college football for Baylor. He was also a member of the Seattle Seahawks and the Washington Redskins.
After sustaining an unfortunate injury that ended his NFL career, Shelton was forced to re-evaluate his values and life’s purpose. This inevitably gave him the space and determination to pursue life as an author and keynote speaker.
Simmons is the author of The Greatest You: Face Reality, Release Negativity, and Live Your Purpose. He is also the founder and president of a Christian-based non-profit organization, RehabTime. He is considered as one of the most impactful speakers of his generation, with a reach of over 60 million people weekly through hard hitting videos and unprecedented engagement.
