Trey Lance is an American professional football player who plays as a quarterback in the NFL. He was born in Marshall, Minnesota, United States, on May 9, 2000.
Trey spent his formative years playing for Marshall Senior High School and North Dakota State University, and he turned professional in 2021 when he was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the NFL Draft, with the third overall pick. Throughout his time with the 49ers, Trey played alongside Christian McCaffrey, Brock Purdy, Jimmy Garoppolo, and Nick Bosa.
Trey’scareer highlights include FCS champion, 2020 FCS Championship Game MVP, Walter Payton Award, Jerry Rice Award, First-team All-MVFC, and MVFC Offensive Player of the Year.
