Born in 1987, Trip Lee (William Lee Barefield III) is an American rapper born in Dallas, Texas. This Christian rapper, poet, and pastor debuted his first album, “If They Only Knew” in 2006 through Reach Records. In 2009, Lee’s sophomore album entitled “20/20” was nominated for best Rip/Hip Hop Gospel album of the year at the Stellar Awards. Other album releases include “Between Two Worlds” (2010), “The Good Life” (2014), “Rise” (2014) and “The Waiting Room” (2016). Trip Lee has worked with such artists as Lecrae, Flame and Json, Leah Smith, and Ambassador.
