Tristania Bio
Tristania is a metal band from Stavanger, Norway. The band was formed in 1996, and its current members include keyboardist Einar Moen, lead guitarist Anders Høyvik Hidle, vocalist Ole Vistnes, rhythm guitarist Gyri Smørdal Losnegaard, drummer Tarald Lie Jr., clean vocalist/acoustic guitarist Kjetil Nordhus. The band has changed its lineup severally, with some members joining and others leaving. They released their debut album, titled “Widow’s Weeds”, in 1998.
Their second album, “Beyond the Veil” was issued in 1999. That same year, the band went on tour with the bands, Anathema and Tiamat. In September 2001, they released their third album, titled “World of Glass”. From 2003 to 2004, the band took a break from live performances to focus on writing music. In February 2005, they released their fourth album, “Ashes” under SPV/Steamhammer Records. They went on to release the album “illumination” in 2007, “Rubicon” in 2010, and “Darkest White” in 2013.
