Troy Daniels is a professional basketball player born on July 15, 1991, in Roanoke, Virginia, USA. He played for William Fleming High School, making three appearances in Virginia's triple-A state championship games. He was the 2008/09 Northwest Region Player of the Year and Roanoke Times Player of the Year.
Troy made the Virginia HS Coaches' Association AAA First-Team All-State. He played college basketball for Virginia Commonwealth University, finishing his career with the second-highest 3-pts scored, with 251. Troy was undrafted in the 2013 NBA Draft, joining the NBA D-League side Rio Grande Valley Vipers for the 2013/14 season.
The shooting guard has played for Houston Rockets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Charlotte Hornets, Memphis Grizzlies, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers, and Denver Nuggets. Troy joined Olimpia Milan for the 2021/22 season, winning the 2021/22 Italian National Championship and the 2022 Italian National Cup. His achievements include All-NBA D-League Third Team (2014), NBA D-League All-Rookie Second Team (2014), and NBA D-League All-Star (2014).
