Troye Sivan Bio
Troye Sivan is an Australian singer, songwriter, actor and youtuber, born in Johannesburg, South Africa as Troye Sivan Mellet. In 2006, he appeared on the stage of the Channel Seven Perth telethon in a duo with singer Guy Sebastian and reached the final of the Start Search contest in 2007. He released his debut EP “Dare to Dream” in 2007 at age 12 and at 2010 opened the “We Are The World 25 for Haiti” YouTube edition. In 1014 he released his second EP TRXYE, this time produced with Universal Music Australia, which reached number 95 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was fifth in sales that year, with 30,000 copies sold in the first 3 days. Sivan’s official YouTube channel has gathered more than seven million subscribers. In April 2020, he released the single “Take Yourself Home” in which he included independent artists who were left without work due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
