Turin Brakes Bio
Turin Brakes is a British band that was formed in 1998 in London, England, United Kingdom. The members of the band include Ollie Knights (vocals, guitar), Gale Paridjanian (guitar, Mellotron, ukulele), Eddie Myer, and Rob Allum.
The band dropped their debut full-length effort The Optimist LP in 2001 and it was nominated for the Mercury Prize in the same year. Two years later the album Ether Song rose to number three on the UK album charts and it featured a Top 5 single Pain Killer. Jackinabox appeared in 2005. Some of their most popular EPs include Everybody Knows Every Day’s a Wicked Black Game (2010), Fight or Flight EP (2000), and The Red Moon EP (2005). The band also dropped Dark on Fire in September 2017 just after the single Stalker appeared in digital form. Outbursts also followed in 2010.
