Started off as the lead singer of the band Orange Country, Ty Segall was critically acclaimed in the garage rock music genre. When the band disbanded, Segall did solo, leading to his debut self-titled effort under Castle France in 2008. His solo album “Lemons” recreated ‘60s guitar music. In 2010, “Melted,” his follow-up was released.
The following year, he had two albums on line, “Live in Aisle Five” and “Goodbye Bread.” With those is another EP of T.Rex covers. The song “Goodbye Bread” was softer comparable to that of John Lennon’s music. His latest work was the “Live in San Francisco” album series under Castle Face.
