Tyler Alvarez Bio
Tyler Alvarez is an American actor who was born on October 25, 1997, in The Bronx, New York. He began his acting career at just 15 years old when he played Adam in the TV series short “Jest Originals”. From there, he moved on to his first role in a movie, which was “The House that Jack Built” in 2013. His first big project was in 2014, when he was casted to play Diego Rueda in Nickelodeon’s series “Every Witch Way”, which also starred Paola Andino, Daniela Nieves and Nick Merico. In 2018 he appeared in the series “The Fosters”. That same year he starred in the series “American Vandal” alongside Griffin Gluck playing Peter Maldonado. This role earned him a lot of recognition and popularity. He also played Benny Mendoza in the famous series “Orange is the New Black” from 2015 to 2019.
