Tyler Glasnow is a professional baseball player who currently plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers that competes in Major League Baseball (MLB). Born on 23rd August 1993 in California, United States, Glasnow played high school baseball for William S. Hart High School. He would later commit to the University of Portland, where he played college baseball. He started his professional career with the Pittsburgh Pirates after being selected in the fifth round of the 2011 MLB draft.
His debut came in 2012 with the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League team Gulf Coast Pirates. He played for various rookie-level teams before being promoted to the major leagues by the Pirates in July 2016. He had a good spell with the Pirates until July 2018, when he joined Tampa Bay Rays. He posted impressive stats in his first 11 starts for the Rays. In December 2023, he was traded alongside Manuel Margot to the Los Angeles Dodgers with Jonny DeLuca and Ryan Pepiot.
