Tyson Fury was born in Wythenshawe, Manchester on August 12, 1988. He participated in the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships and bagged a bronze medal. He represented England in the EU Junior Championships in 2007. In 2008, he won the ABA National Championship Super-heavyweight category. In the same year, he started his career in pro boxing. His amateur record was 31-4 with 26 wins by KO.
In 2009, Fury won the WBO Inter-continental heavyweight title. He won the European, WBO International and the vacant British heavyweight title un 2014 when he went against Dereck Chisora.
