The American actress Valerie Ann Bertinelli was born on April 23, 1969, in Wilmington, Delaware, U.S. She debuted on the TV screen with her participation in the episode “The Flag” from “Apple's Way”, but she is more known for her role in the TV show “One Day at a Time” from 1975-1984. Thanks to “One Day at a Time”, she won the Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries, or Motion Picture Made for Television category from the Golden Globe Awards, two following years. She continued appearing in films but mostly on TV shows. In 2015 she began to host two cooking shows, the Valerie's Home Cooking show and the Kids Baking Championship show.
