Vargas & Lagola Bio
Vargas & Lagola are a Swedish electronic music duo made of Salem Al Fakir and Vincent Pontare. They both have impressive solo careers, as they have written and produced songs for the likes of Swedish House Mafia, Madonna, Avicii, Katy Perry and David Guetta. They have experienced a huge success both in Sweden and in an international sphere, and in 2006, they began working together. They started working with late Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii, in 2012, and they co-wrote and produced his breakthrough songs “Waiting for Love” and “Hey Brother”. After his death, they worked on three songs “Piece of Mind”, “Excuse Me Mr Sir” and “Tough Love” for his posthume album “Tim”. In 2020, the dynamic duo released their debut album “The Butterfly Effect”.
