Veronica Ferres, whose full birth name is Veronica Maria Cäcilia Ferres, is a German actress who was born on June 10, 1965, in Solingen, West Germany. She got her acting breakthrough in 1996 when she starred in the famous German comedy film “The Superwife”, which was followed by starring roles in national films like “Schotnk!”, “Rossini”, “Klimt” and “Saviors in the Night”. She also participated in several TV productions among which stand out “The Manns”, “Destined to Witness” and “The Woman from Checkpoint Charlie”.
Her extensive career earned her multiple awards including the Grimme-Preis, The German Television Award, and the Golden Camera Award. After making a name in the national industry she sought international fame starring in the 2013 film “Hector and the Search for Happiness” alongside Simon Pegg and Jean Reno.
