Vianney Bureau, known as Vianney, is a pop singer and songwriter born in Pau, France, on February 13, 1991. He began playing the guitar and writing original songs at age twelve. He studied at Notre-Dame-des-Oiseaux Collège, Lycée militaire de Saint-Cyr, and ESG Management School de Paris.
Vianney released his debut album, Idées blanches, on October 20, 2014, produced by Antoine Essertier. The album was certified double platinum. Nicolas Davenel directed the music video for the charting single Je te déteste, while Nicolas Bary directed the video for Pas là. The album earned him a contract with the French independent record label Tôt ou Tard.
His self-titled sophomore album, released in 2016, peaked at number one on the official French charts. Vianney released the live LP Le Concert in 2018. In 2020, he released his third full-length album, N'attendons pas. The album topped the French charts and was certified platinum. Vianney won the 2014 Virgin Radio Award for Male Revelation of the Year. In 2016, he won Artiste Interprète of the Year at the Victoires de la Musique.
