Victor Jay Garber, born on March 16, 1949, in London, Ontario, Canada is known to be an actor and singer. From a very early age, he demonstrated his passion for acting and started to practice at the age of nine. He formed a group named “The sugar shoppe” which became quite popular and even performed on shows like “The Ed Sullivan Show” And “The Tonight Show”(created by Steve Allen; Dwight Hemion; William O. Harbach; Sylvester "Pat" Weaver). In 1972, he played the lead role as Jesus in “Godspell” in the Toronto Production and was cast for the movie as well. Some of his works on the stage are “Arcadia”, “Deathtrap”, “Present Laughter”, “Assassins” and “A Little Night Music” among others. He performed in “Follies” in 2007 and received numerous positive reviews from critics. Garber appeared in various movies as well, including Titanic in 1997, Sleepless in Seattle in 1993, Annie in 1999, Legally Blonde in 2001, and Tuck Everlasting in 2002. He also appeared in the television show “I Had Three Wives” in 1985. Garber was nominated thrice at the Emmy Awards for “Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series” and Saturn Award in 2003.
