Vimala Raman Bio

Vimala Raman is an actress born in Sydney, Australia, on January 23, 1982. She won the Miss India Australia title in 2004 and the Miss India WorldWide - Beautiful Face title in 2005. She has a bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the University of New South Wales. Vimala attended the Natanalaya Dance Academy based in Sydney, studying under Jayalakshmi Kandiah.

She is best known for her roles in Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil films. She made her acting debut in 2006 in the Tamil film Poi, directed by Kailasam Balachander. Vimala made her Malayalam film debut as Vaiga in Time. She has worked alongside Suresh Gopi, Ajmal Ameer, Mammooty, and Dileep.

In 2008, Vimala portrayed Lakshmi Devi in Apoorva - The Rare School Days and Madhavi Menon in College Kumaran. She made a cameo appearance in Raja Rajendra in 2015. Her acting credits include Om Namo Venkatesaya, Poyi Maranju Parayathe, Chukkalanti Ammayi Chakkanaina Abbayi, and Ranga the Donga.
