Vince Carter Bio

Vince Carter is an American professional basketball player. He was born Vincent Lamar Carter Jr on the 26th of January, 1977, in Daytona Beach, Florida, U.S. In college. Carter played for the North Carolina Tar Heels, helping the team win the Men's Basketball Tournament in his freshman year. He was named second-team All-American and First-Team All-ACC during his college years. In 1998, Carter was selected by the Golden State Warriors in the NBA draft with the fifth overall pick. Then, he was traded to the Toronto Raptors, where he played for 6 years. He has also played for the Orlando Magic team, the Phoenix Suns, the Dallas Mavericks, and several other teams. Carter is a basketball living legend and he has earned many awards during his career. He is a Third-team All-ACC, First-team All-ACC, Consensus second-team All-American, NBA Slam Dunk Contest Champion, NBA, an All-NBA Second Team, and an eight-time NBA All-Star, besides many other earned honors. He is also the only player in NBA history to have played in four different decades (1990s, 2000s, 2010s, 2020s), and in 2020 he was the oldest active player in the NBA.
